We encourage our employees to participate in activities which are beyond their daily roles and responsibilities in the organization. One key method to ensure that we remain responsive, agile and highly engaged, is through our employee cafés. The cafés are driven entirely by employees with focus on diverse areas like sports, CSR, learning and development and celebrating the lighter side of work.
Zest is our annual event where all employees come together with an aim to learn, collaborate and serve. The event witnesses a confluence of activities like CSR, rewards and recognition, and many team building exercises to strengthen our bonds. Recognitions facilitated during Zest include aspects of the InterGlobe culture, learning, CSR, health and safety, Going the Extra Mile, ideation and much more. We see Zest as an opportunity to bring our group closer together and forge strong bonds that improve communication and teamwork in the workplace.
Leadership Connect is a platform introduced for improving the connection between our leadership and employees. This is a forum to enhance learning and transparency especially for our young workforce as they can freely discuss the business, careers, development journey, any concerns and much more with the leadership team. Additionally, it gives an opportunity to the leadership team to have a greater understanding of the personal and professional aspirations of the employees.
COVID has further sharpened our focus on the health and well-being of our employees. Along with the existing benefits that we provide to our employees, we also set up vaccination camps for our employees and their family members, arranged for medical support through doctors and ambulance on call, special leaves for employees that got impacted by COVID were granted and provided support for their mental health. All of this was done under the aegis of a COVID task force consisting of employees from different functions under an outreach campaign called the #staysafestaystrong campaign.
